The Classroom: Each component of an MCR classroom is carefully designed to address a child’s academic and developmental needs. The classroom contains a wide variety of multi-sensory, sequential, and self-correcting materials designed to support a child’s natural learning process.

Multiple Age Grouping: In an MCR classroom, younger children have the freedom to seek assistance from their older peers — building the confidence and abilities of older students, and increasing the learning opportunities of younger students. The result is a peaceful, cooperative, family-like atmosphere.

Primary Classes

Ages 3-6, to include Kindergarten (toilet trained required)

4 Days a Week (Monday-Thursday)
Half-day AM session: 9:00-11:30
Full Day session: 9:00-3:00

5 Days a Week (Monday-Friday)
Half-day AM session: 9:00-11:30
Full Day session: 9:00-3:00

Elementary Classes

Lower Elementary

1st-3rd GRADES: 8:25-3:25

Upper Elementary:

4th-6th GRADES: 8:25-3:25

Hot Lunch:

Prepared on site, nutritionally balanced lunches are offered Monday-Friday

Lunch Bunch:

Available for half-day students
AM students: 11:30-12:30 Monday-Friday

Lunch bunch is available as an extension to your child’s day. It gives them the opportunity to eat lunch with their friends and play on our natural playground for recess.

Before and After Care:

Available Monday-Friday, 7:45-9:00 and 3:00-5:30

Enrichment Programs:

Dance, Yoga, and French Club.

Montessori Children’s Room offers Primary Summer School and Primary Summer Mini Camps. These are separate programs from the academic school year. Please call the school for full details.
